Chinese Parasol ring 18ct yellow gold
At Xian, China - the city of the terracotta warriors D the plaster detail of a city wall showing flower like leaves typical of Chinese art intrigued me. The flat, yet pursed domes, etched with striations seemed to be made in pastry D and this was how I explained to the craftsmen on my return so they could understand the feel I wanted to create in the design. This design can also be made in 18ct white gold.
