Cassandra was captivated by the ancient artistry she saw at the Qut'b Minar minaret in Delhi, from the soaring heights of the tower to the still marble tomb below. It was here that Cassandra found her inspiration. She began to wonder how she could capture the lightness of marble, coupled with the intricacy and depth of the carvings within it, in an entirely new material - gold. She realised she needed to be inventive with this design to create a truly 3D effect. So after creating a pattern and deciding on the right proportions, Cassandra built a liner within it, so each twist and turn of gold gleams against a smooth and serene backdrop. From the journey to India.
Qut'b Minar 9ct yellow gold bracelet. This bracelet measures approximately 7.5 inches. A signature stylistic feature of Cassandra Goad, this bracelet can be joined with another bracelet to make a spectacular necklace.
Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
