Tortuga 9ct yellow gold bracelet. Swimming underwater with turtles on the Mexican barrier reef inspired Cassandra's Tortuga design. They personify grace and elegance and calm, and as the saying goes: 'Slow and steady wins the race'. For the Mayans, turtles symbolised rain. From the journey to Mexico.
This bracelet measures approximately 7.5 inches long.
Swimming with tortugas, or turtles, off the coast of Mexico, diving deep amongst the corals, in and out if the underwater gardens, was magical. Turtles personify grace and elegance and calm, and as the saying goes : 'Slow and steady wins the race'. Cassandra has designed her tortugas with shells engraved as their natural shells and the underside like the underside of their bellies. The launch of the Tortuga design was on World Turtle Day in 2018. The designs include earrings, necklace pendants, necklaces, rings and bracelets.
All Cassandra Goad Jewellery is designed and made in our workshops in London.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
