Cassandra's Cavolfiore design was inspired by the Sicilian markets which are full of the most beautifully ripe fruit and vegetables that overflow copiously from their baskets. Great white blossoming cauliflowers sat like brides of the garden amongst the oranges and lemons. As Cassandra sketched later that afternoon in a sunny courtyard, the white florets become a cluster of white pearls on golden stems set with diamonds just where sparkling dew might have fallen earlier that morning. Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.

The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
