Medium Klover earings in 9ct yellow gold set with facetted pear shape iolite and diamond. Inspired from the four leaf Clover - the first is for faith, the second is for hope, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. From the Journey to Scandinavia.
Each earring measures approximately 16mm in diameter.
The Klover design is inspired by the four leaf clovers that Cassandra loves. Each of the four petals symbolise: Faith, Hope, Love and Luck with a diamond linking them together at the centre. The design can be set with the same stone in the petals or with a variety of colours as well as bespoke designs. Recently, Cassandra has added a beautiful and rare deep green Chrome Diopside pendant to the collection.
Vitreous iolite stones appear in deep blue shades, enrapturing admirers with their strong pleochroism, an optical phenomenon that makes the gemstone appear to have different colours when observed from different angles. With these strong polarising effects at varying angles, it's said vikings harnessed the stones' powers to determine the position of the sun on overcast days.
All Cassandra Goad Jewellery is designed and made in our workshops in London.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
