The delicate pointed Octavia loop of diamonds sits on top of many of my pendants from pearls to delicately carved briolette stones. These interchangeable pendants hang from the plain gold, silver, and pave set diamond Astrea hoops. Have one pair and you will soon want another...
Traditionally, spinel have been important stones for British and royal regalia, a hard lustrous gemstone that forms in a breadth of shades. While ferrous iron minerals within will impart bright, striking blue hues, chromium will imbue dazzling pinks and reds. They are known to possess optical effects, both four and six rayed stars sometimes occurring within the gemstone.
The Black Prince's Ruby in the Imperial State Crown is in fact red spinel.
All Cassandra Goad Jewellery is designed and made in our workshops in London.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
