Villa Tasca chain necklace with a large trigger clasp featuring five of the finials from the rooftop of the house. Inspired by Villa Tasca, Palermo, which was built in the 1500s and is surrounded by its incredible garden. The finials on the top of the house lent themselves perfectly to be transformed into gold or silver motifs. From the Journey to Sicily.

The necklace measures approximately 35'' in length.

Villa Tasca

The roof top finials on Villa Tasca are swathed in garlands of vines and grapes, telling of the wines of the Tasca family. I spent afternoons in their gardens on the edge of Palmero reading about Sicily and gathering ideas and stories for my collection. And so it was one afternoon, I sketched the urns and made them golden: in a long necklace and cufflinks.

Yellow Gold

Gold is a metal that Cassandra loves to work with, it takes a wonderful pátina with time. Cassandra has the skill of knowing which carat, strength and durability of gold to use, where stone setting is concerned, so that jewels last and look beautiful for generations. Sourcing gold and other metals responsibly from people who have the same ethical vision as herself is particularly important, and she encourages transformations from old unworn jewels in to new sparkling pieces. When receiving jewels from Cassandra Goad, you can be assured that only the highest quality gold is being used.

If you would like to have this design crafted bespoke for you in another metal - silver, white or rose gold - please contact us and we will be delighted to make this for you.
