The ceramic Mexican Tree of Life is one of Cassandra's earliest memories of Mexico. Colourful, exotic, story telling and beautiful. In Tiburcio Soteno's - the octogenarian ceramist- workshop in Metepec, there was one of every sort, in every size, at every stage of creation. As artists, they both sat and talked about some of his hard dry clay creations from the kiln. Cassandra particularly loved his versions painted white that made you look at the shape, the curves, the flowers and the birds. And so she made her Arbol de la Vida design, in gold and sprinkled with a few diamonds. From the journey to Mexico.
All Cassandra Goad pendants are sold without chains.
Arbol de la Vida necklace pendant in 9ct white gold set with diamonds and on a diamond pave set loop 0.16cts. The pendant, including loop, measures approximately 35mm x 54mm. All pendants sold without chain.
Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
