Cassandra 's inspiration for her 'Apple of an Eye' design comes from the Fruktlada pattern of the Swedish designer: Stig Lindberg. Fruktlada depicts 'eternity ' as the life cycle of an apple. Cassandra saw this as similar to the more familiar 'serpent eating its tail' symbolism of eternity rings. It also reminds her of the words from the prayer of Compline: 'Keep me as an apple of an eye : Hide me under the shadow of Thy wings'. From the Journey to Scandinavia.

Apple Of An Eye ring in silver. The measures approximately 10mm.
Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
