Annie Austin, Miranda Challen (of Cazenove and Loyd Travel Specialists) and Cassandra share individual travel experiences in Morocco from the 1970s onwards to inspire you to visit Morocco
Tuesday 8th March 6.15-8.15pm
Fitzroy Morrissey and Cassandra discuss Morocco viewed in the context of the Islamic world, the significance of the colour green, of doors and doorways and, last but not least, Ibn 'Arabi's book: 'Gemstones of Wisdom'.
Fitzroy is the author of 'A Short History of Islamic Thought' and is a Fellow of All Souls Oxford. He will be signing copies of his book which can be purchased on the night.
Wednesday 9th March 6.15-8.15pm
Gabriel Gbadamosi, the African-Irish poet and playwright shares with Cassandra his memories of living in Morocco, his love of language and the African art of storytelling.
Drinks, Moroccan mint tea and Moroccan inspired canapes will be served on each evening from 6.15pm at 147 Sloane Street, SW1X 9BZ. All talks will start promptly at 7pm.
