The Rosario Gagliardi design is inspired by the railings in front of San Domenico church in the golden city of Noto, Sicily. Cassandra interpreted the intricate looping pattern of the railings as the shank of her new ring design and named it after the architect of the church: Rosario Gagliardi. From the Journey to Sicily.

The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
