Cassandra's Chinese Parasol design is inspired by the Chinese wall paintings at Xi'an where she noticed a beautiful sculptured effect on a wall. Trees, with 'Parasol' like florets, branched out over the surface of the wall and, sketchbook in hand, Cassandra drew single flowers and clusters that were to become her Chinese Parasol design.
