Cassandra's Iguminov design is inspired by the flamboyant decoration of the window sills of the Iguminov House in Moscow. Brushing away the snow on one of the window frames of the house, Cassandra discovered a tapered detail of the large central bosse that had a crossed hatch pattern deeply cut into the stone. Back in her workshop, she recreated this intricate form, leaving the recesses matt so giving the design depth and sparkle. It has become one of Cassandra's classic signature designs. From the Journey to Russia.
Iguminov large 9ct yellow gold bracelet. This bracelet measures approximately 8 inches. A signature stylistic feature of Cassandra Goad, this bracelet can be joined with another bracelet to make a spectacular necklace.
Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
