San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town close to Mexico city, full of baroque churches, delicious restaurants and cafes. While at the 'Casa no Name' hotel, Cassandra often sat in the quiet courtyard with a fountain playing into a pool of waterlilies and where, high up on an old wall an original fresco detailed out in greens and yellows the shape of a pineapple (or Pina). One day with the scent of jasmine filling the air, Cassandra sketched out her Pina pendant design adding a sprinkle of diamonds just where the leaves would have been. From the journey to Mexico.

Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
