Bringing to life the iridescence of a fish in water, Cassandra has recreated the sense of scales on her fish and this scale pattern can then be enamelled (a technique often applied in Indian jewellery) in shades of blue, turquoise and green on each side (Cassandra often enamels the sides in differing colours!). Cassandra's Fish design is one of her locket jewels that opens to reveal a smooth compartment ideal for engraving (although the small fish is too small to be openable). Fish symbolise happiness in India because of their freedom in water and are linked to reincarnation, as well as symbolising Christianity. From the journey to India.

Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
