Cassandra woke early every morning when she was in Constantinople to walk down Soguk Cesme street to the Topkapi Palace. As she arrived through the mighty gateway, a series of courtyards unfolded before her leading her further into a world of exquisitely drawn tulips and leaves that curled around bowls, and decorations all over the palace generally. Cassandra's eye fell upon a collection of old hubbly bubbly pipes, their round and glowing organic amber ends jumbled together in a dusty dish. The pipes were small in circumference, but not dissimilar to a ring. Back in her workshop some weeks later, it took a while to build sections of the eternity ring design she had in mind. As if this was not complicated enough for the craftsman, Cassandra wanted the ring to feel as delicate as lace and yet be suitable for every day. The design Cassandra created is elegant, charming, beautiful and wearable..bringing to life the Topkapi's hidden treasures. From the journey to Turkey.

Cassandra herself designs all her jewels and works closely with her stone cutters and craftsmen throughout the process from design through to creation including on her bespoke projects.
Ever in search of the unusual and rare, Cassandra travels the world to source beautiful gemstones, either in the rough or cut form.
The craftsman works as an artist recreating the design in metal. The jewel is then mounted, assayed, polished and set.
