Cassandra started in her workshop trying to recreate the rough texture of the tortilla. For months, she kept trying to get the texture just right. One day, Cassandra brought in some fresh tortillas and tried pressing the surface of the corn tortilla into the metal - and that wondrous lunar texture glowed back. From the journey to Mexico.
