Throughout the autumn, Cassandra will be hosting a series of talks with luminaries across many different spheres, carefully curated around her latest collection, La Belle France.
Drinks & Canapés will be served from 6:15pm with the talks starting at 7pm.

Isabelle Roché and Margaret Zayer, from Maison du Pastel in Paris, talk about the restoration of the oldest pastel maker in the world and making pastels for Edouard Vuillard, Edgar Degas and Winston Churchill. Come and hold pastels in an array of colours in your hands.

Cassandra hosted the book launch of Sue Prideaux's Wild Thing – her biography of the painter Gauguin, published by Faber and Faber. Sue read extracts from her book, which was available on the night, and discussed with Cassandra the creative life of jewellers, artists and writers linking to France.

Polly, a specialist flower grower with over 15 years of experience cultivating historic species of tulips, shared her extensive knowledge and personal anecdotes about these stunning blooms. A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Polly's new book, The Tulip Garden, recently published by Phaidon, which was available on the night.

Vincent Zanardi of Chelsea’s Birley Bakery was in conversation with Cassandra discussing their creative adventures with French patisseries. We feasted on Birley Bakery pastries and were tempted by Vincent's recipes and tips.
