A New Front Window to Celebrate Día de Muertos

Día de Muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated on the 2nd of November. It is a day of celebration and reunion where the spirits of the dead come back to visit their loved ones.

With the festival just over a week away, the front window at Cassandra Goad has come alight with a bed of candles and traditional Mexican cempasúchiles cascading from the ceiling. On the inside, the shop has been beautifully decorated with pumpkins and gourds that Cassandra has grown in her garden.

This month Cassandra is showcasing a selection of her jewellery from her Mexican collection, with designs that are perfect for a Christmas, birthday, anniversary or 'just because' present! Come and see us on Sloane Street to have a look and to learn more about Día de Muertos.
