With a name that translates to 'house of dreams' it is no surprise that the Dar Ahlam hotel in Morrocco is one of Cassandra's favourites, and she was thrilled to see it featured in How To Spend It this weekend. The 200 year old fortified house in southern Moroccan palmeraie, is the most beautifully designed hotel with hand-embroidered bed linen, hand-shaped ceramic lamps and Louis Benech gardens that stretch behind the house.
