Edith and Kat Corona Chacon created Maldita Envidia in 2015, with the idea to make a collection of sombreros with brightly coloured Mexican embroidery artesanias. All their hats are one-off designs and are created in looms with different materials from various states of the Mexican Republic. The sombreros were featured in Vogue and are sold at Chablé resorts.
