The Roi Soleil brooch in yellow gold with mother of pearl, blue topaz and diamonds is inspired by Louis XIV's inaugural firework festival - Les Plaisirs de l'Île enchantée or The Party of the Delights of the Enchanted Island. Echoing the glittering kaleidoscopic effect of fireworks, the Roi Soleil brooch is set with facetted and baguette cut mother of pearl. The precision with which each gemstone is cut and fitted maximises the dazzling sparkle of each mother of pearl, creating a hypnotising brooch. From the journey to France.
